Bluewater is a serious grill-come-brasserie, showcasing the very best of West Australian produce and wines. Chef Brad Leahy has concentrated on fresh, local food that doesn’t compete with the view. He believes in simple yet elegant food, letting the produce ‘speak for itself’.
The Bluewater Grill Function Room offers various opportunities for stylish and elegant weddings, and the function room can accommodate up to 100 guests. Big bay windows that open up and spill out onto the grass, heritage brick and timber furnishings offer a rustic yet contemporary feel. Bluewater’s beautiful panoramic city views and vast lawns provide perfect opportunities for memorable wedding photos.
Bluewater’s Private Wine Room is perfect for small and intimate style weddings, whether it be cocktail-style or a sit-down dinner. This rustic yet quaint room has kept its historic charm with the wooden floorboards, fireplace and French doors yet feels at the same time very modern, with contemporary wine racks and furnishings.
The room seats 22 guests around a boardroom-style table or 40 people around 4 tables of 10. We can accommodate 30 guests for theatre-style seating or up to 60 for a cocktail-style function.
For much smaller weddings, the Bluewater Private Dining Room is the perfect venue, featuring its own small terrace area, and superb views through its timber windows. The room can seat up to 16 guests around a boardroom-style table, or up to 40 guests for a cocktail-style function (utilising the terrace area, if it is available).

Thank you soo much for all your help with our Wedding. You always made us feel relaxed and assured when ever we dealt with you.
The room looked amazing, It’s such a beautiful room to begin with and you did such a fantastic job with setting everything up. We absolutely loved having everyone at the one table but not feeling drowned by the size of a big function room. The candles and wine racks added such an ambiance it was perfect.
Everyone commented on how wonderful the food was, Steve can’t stop talking about how much he loved the duck. Our Thanks to your talented Chefs as the food far exceeded our expectations and Yes we will definitely be back to eat in the restaurant. Not sure I can wait until our anniversary J The quality of the food was excellent and spectacular presentation.
The Staff on the night were excellent, they were all so professional and attentive without ever being pushy. Everyone’s wine glass was always topped up especially for toasts etc. My Mum said the girls at the end of the night were a brilliant help in packing up the room too.
I would highly recommend the Blue Water Grill to anyone, especially for the small wedding as we were still made to feel just as important with our 20 guests as if we’d had 200.

Hi Natalie,
We had such a wonderful night for our 50th birthday with our family and friends. The venue was wonderful and everyone was so impressed with the food, staff and service. Please thank Caleb and his staff for looking after us so well.
It is not an easy task to move on a crowd of singing and dancing Irish and Scottish folk after midnight so hope we did not cause too much hassle!!
Natalie, you were so delightful and helpful to Ross, Esther and I and we really appreciate your advice, time and patience as we organised our function - many thanks.

I wanted to thank you again for all your assistance, our wedding reception was perfect - exactly the way I imagined it.
From the very first time I contacted you, through to the final meeting with you a few days before our "big day", you have been extremely helpful and patient and accommodating of our requests. An absolute pleasure to deal with!
On the evening, the service from the staff was very professional & friendly. The food was amazing and still to this day, our guests comment on their meal.
We would highly recommend the Bluewater Grill function centre to any of our friends seeking advice for a venue for their wedding reception. With the help of Touched By Angels the room looked beautiful.

Hi Sarah
Apologies for the lateness of my email, however Chris and I have been away for a week on 'honeymoon' with 30 friends and family down south and we've only just got back to Perth!
We just wanted to say a very big thank you to you and your team for making our wedding last Saturday so spectacular. Obviously the setting is world-class with spectacular views, however the service that we received from both yourself before the event and the team on the night was just fantastic.
We have had so many comments on how fabulous the food was, so please pass on our heartfelt thanks to the kitchen. Unfortunately because I was talking so much all night I didn't really get to eat much, but every single person that I've spoken to since the wedding has said how amazing the food was and that it kept coming all night! We were a little worried that there wouldn't be enough, but by all accounts everyone was very full by the end of the night which is great.
We would also like to personally thank David and his wait staff for their excellent service on the night. David was completely in control of the evening and was great. His team was very good too and kept on top of things all night.
Chris and I had the best night of our lives and again, can't thank the Blue Water Grill team enough for making it so special.
Thanks again Sarah and I hope that we catch up again, perhaps more work-related next time!
